More Than 60 Firms Sign Houston Bar Gender Fairness Pledge

Inspired by what they heard from members of the San Francisco Bar Association, leaders of the HBA announced in 2003 that they wanted to form a similar gender parity-focused group and launched the Gender Fairness Task Force. That group became a standing committee of the HBA in 2006 and circulated its first pledge that year.
