A Charleston man is working to get back what his family lost decades ago…when Adolf Hitler’s Nazi regime took control of the Netherlands.

He’s filed a lawsuit against The Netherlands, the country’s ministry of education, culture and science and a list of museums.

He claims the country’s possession of his family’s paintings perpetuates the wrongs his family endured during Nazi control.
